We believe that student activism is a vital tool for social change and that Syria’s current situation is an outlet for that activism. It is essential that the situation in Syria has a student voice. Students Organize for Syria will focus on promoting student solidarity with the Syrian people’s struggle for freedom by holding nationally unified campaigns in the following three categories:
We exist to assist the Syrian people in their effort to build a self-determined, pluralistic society by standing in solidarity with them, raising awareness of their cause, and helping to alleviate the current humanitarian crisis in Syria. We believe that students are the educated individuals who are key to this effort and so, we are mobilizing like-minded, ambitious students at campuses nationally to organize for Syria.

SOS envisions a free Syria in which the Syrian people have the rights and freedoms that they deserve. Our ultimate goal is to productively and effectively mobilize on behalf of the Syrian people. We are devoted to sustaining an organized student network that is unified in their dedication to assisting displaced Syrians globally.
